I’m Rachel Chak, a Filipino-Chinese interdisciplinary designer & researcher with 4+ years of experience, based between Manila <> London.
My practice bridges design and technology with the grassroots and emerging creative spaces that shape and move culture. I am shaped by a background in Health Sciences, so whether designing digital products, building websites for changemakers, or producing cultural events, the work always asks: how does this serve the people and communities it's for?
I’m currently, I am 1/2 of Studio Bisita, a web studio collaborating with Filipino changemakers to craft websites for the shared well-being of people and planet.
Previously, I was a Product Designer at t2, a publishing platform for writers and readers to connect around niches, powered by tools for content ownership, community-building, and creator monetisation.
Beyond design, I am also a DJ and co-founder of AngelHaus, a London-based collective and brand building experiences around music.

01 — Product Design (UX/UI)
I work closely with product and engineering teams to design digital products end-to-end, from UX research, to prototyping, to shipping. I've previously designed for startups in EdTech like Teco Guide and the B2C Social space such as t2.
02 — Custom Web Design & Development
Custom web design where every part of the interface, from layout to visual details, is designed specifically for your brand identity, story, goals, and content. This may be a simple landing page or a multi-page site with a content system (i.e. Webflow and Framer) that allows you to update your site overtime.
03 — Web Development
I also offer development support for existing designs, optimising for mobile, expanding a CMS, or building new functionalities and components.
04 — Events, Workshops & Experiences
I produce and curate experiences around music through AngelHaus. I have previously facilitated workshops around design, such as a 3-Day Nature Camp (Nature Kwentour) for students through a British Council grant.
